2 min...NY Richards long run up right wing and sends in low cross from 30 yards that rolls through box just steps ahead of charging NY Henry and he saves it from rolling over end line on left but redirects it for TFC throw-in.
3 min...NY Lindpere cross from 7 yards on left is blocked and cleared by defender.

Halftime entertainment was the Highland Creek Pipes and Drums probably because it was Veteran's Day at the Canadian National Exhibition which is going on outside the stadium. Why did they have to play "Scotland The Brave" in Canada? They got through one other song and kept playing as they were drowned out by the commercials on the scoreboard now playing over again for the fourth time this afternoon.

Attendance was announced as 22108 which is a new record for this stadium.

This was the second most exciting game at BMO Field I've ever seen (better than when Real Madrid was here). The 2008 All-Star game was my favourite game because I got to see David Beckham and all the best players in the MLS on one night. The Red Bulls have parlayed three designated players onto their team. Juan Pablo Angel has played for the team for a few years while French international Thierry Henry and Mexican national captain Rafael Marquez have just joined the team within the last few weeks. They all had a part to play in the Red Bulls victory. TFC designated player Julian de Guzman did not play as he had accumulated too many Yellow cards over the season and was serving a suspension.

Two of the Red Bulls players drew some cheers at this hostile park. Thierry Henry drew some cheers for his star power and late substitution Carl Robinson because he played so hard for TFC when he was here from their first three years in the league.

This was the first home game that TFC have lost in well over a year. I don't know why the long unbeaten streak was played up so hard by the media the last week but I felt something might go wrong days ahead of time. I think it was worse that TFC has had so many tie games at home this season rather than this one loss...Of couse the real reason TFC struggles is their awful road record offsetting thei awesome home record.

Red Bulls beat TFC twice in the last week and pull well ahead of them in the Eastern Conference for the second and last guaranteed playoff spot. TFC will now have to try for a wild card spot against six tough teams from the Western Conference.
