Attendance was announced as 20648 on this warm afternoon.
I can't recall who was announced as the Man of the Match. Before the game Dan Gargan was announced as the winner of the Esquire Player of the Month for July for his charity work
TFC scored two goals for the second game in a row after tieing Monagua in Honduras earlier in the week and advancing to the CONCACAF Champions group stage. Before this week it was the final game of May (ten games) since the team had scored more than one game in a game.
Ante Jazic is a Canadian national team player but was booed along with the rest of the visiting team by fans at this game. He had some good runs up the left wing and crosses into the TFC box although he's a defender.
Stefan Frei played well in net this game and ensured that TFC got the win. This game for a change he was called on to make some brilliant saves as the team was hanging on at the end as Chivas came forward.
