Attendance was announced as 1559. There were only four cheerleaders today for just their second appearance. The national anthems were sung today by 31 members of the Etobicoke Centennial Choir.
As other reports have said, Lynx outshot the Mariners 23-6. Lynx lack the finishing touch. The Mariners looked very beatable and hung back looking for counter-attacks the entire second half.
Hampton Roads Mariners are now the first place team in the Atlantic Division. Their home games are played in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
