Final score:......Toronto Lynx........2.......US Pro 40 Selects............1.......

Attendance was 1732. The weather hours earlier looked like there'd be a real downpour.

The nomadic US Pro 40 team had been beaten 5-0 in Montreal on Friday night. Today there was a good chance that they could win. They weren't as young as I thought they'd be. They looked good on set plays as their freekick goal proved but they lacked disipline shown on the backpass blooper goal and losing two guys for their 2nd yellow card each for argueing the same call.

The team programs were ready for this game. They'll probably be used for the rest of the year with just a game insert being different. I was there the day of the team picture being taken (while attending a CPSL press conference) but the right page of the picture looks out of focus.

I didn't hang around after the game because I drove to drive up to Aurora for the initial CPSL game that started at 7:00pm (just one hour after this game ended).
