Connecticut gets 4 points for the win, Toronto gets 0 for the loss.
Attendance was announced as 2854 which is a very good crowd compared to last year. This game was played in the middle of the day during the school week and the crowd was full of children from various schools on a field trip. The jock rock music was left running during some game passages. 'Wannabe', 'Barbie Girl', 'YMCA' etc were played. The kids didn't abandon the game when the rain started although some fled for the covered exits until it slowed. A special halftime event had a contest of running with your forehead down on a baseball bat until you were quite dizzy then try to dribble a ball into the goal. There weren't enough officials to monitor the contest so the winners didn't bother to run 10 times around the bat before running for the ball. The second run had one kid go around once and he had dribbled into the net before any of the others had finished the correct ten and he was awarded the prize.
The Lynx should have won this game as the Wolves had an awful 2 and 8 record. They dig themselves even deeper in the basement of the standings. The Lynx had more chances but the Wolves dominated in the golden goal overtime period.
