There was no extra time nor shootout played.
The crowd was about 100 people. This stadium has artificial turf. The Rhinos wore the same preseason uniforms as last year which have no numbers on the back. I can only identify them from numbers on the front of their shorts so that's why there's not much comment on them. The Lynx played better as the game went on. The Rhinos are the A-League defending champions.
The three Brazilians are Jefferson Jose de Assumpcao aka 'Jefferson' a striker. Carlos Eduardo de Souza Alves aka 'Edu' a midfielder and Marco Antonio DaSilva Nunes aka 'Gaucho' a midfielder. I think Gaucho was wearing either #16 or #12. Numbers didn't match up with the roster sheets too well.
Dwayne DeRosario, Edgar Bartolomeu, Tony Pecci, and Kashaka Walker were all listed as 'unsigned'. Ten players are listed as 1st year signings and four players are 2nd year. There are no survivors of the club's first year (1999 is their 3rd year) unless they can sign DeRosario.
