Here are the results of the CPSL game between Oshawa Flames and Toronto Croatia played at Civic Stadium in Oshawa at 8:30pm. This was the first leg of the League Cup semi-final.

Attendance was about 300 people.
Toronto Croatia was on a roll although through scheduling I hadn't seen them for over a month but I thought they would win. They had won 2-0 here in Oshawa just 3 nights earlier in a League game. This game could go either way and a tie was a fair result.
The second leg takes place on Wednesday September 1st at Centennial Stadium in Etobicoke at 7:00pm with the winner earning a place in the League Cup Final also at Centennial Stadium on Sunday Septermber 26th at 3:00pm.
I realized while being stuck in a traffic jam on Highway 401 that this stadium is too far away to get to on a regular basis, it's about a 1 hour drive away. I'll go back in October to watch the League playoffs but not until then. Oshawa isn't a small town but I recognized the driving inspector who failed me while I was trying to get my Level 2 license in the spectators for this game. The driving test centre was on the other side of the parking lot.
