Attendance was about 125 people.
The Flames keep their chances of getting the 2nd spot in Group A of the League Cup and a spot in the semi-finals strong with tonight's win. They deserved the penalty shot call in the second half. They learned with patience how to beat the Astros offside trap tactics.
The Astros are now out of the Cup playoffs but have one game left against Toronto Olympians. Player coach Rafael Carbajal was in goal again tonight after a brilliant League game against Toronto Olympians the previous Sunday. The Olympians had over 30 shots in that game according to announcer Ennio in the pressbox and the score could have been double digits except for the 38 year old goalie who had retired five years earlier.
