Four games where played last night in CPSL League Cup action. Toronto Olympians and St. Catharines Roma Wolves remain the leaders in there respective groups. In St. Catharines, Patrick Kelman scored in the 35th minute of the first half, his goal stood up and St. Catharines edged out London City 1-0.
Toronto Olympians defeated York Region Shooters 4-1 at Birchmount Stadium, with Elvis Thomas and John Matas each scoring two. Suhail Mirza scored the lone goal for the Shooters.
Oshawa Flames defeated North York Astros by a score of 3-2. Flames opened the scoring on a goal by Terrence Lazarus. In the second half Astros Shawn O'Connel knocked in two to take the lead, but the Flames battled back on goals by Terrence Lazarus his second of the evening, then Darrly Gomez converted a penally shot to secure the win. Flames victory moved them into second place in Group A. Olympians and Flames square off Sunday evening at Civic Stadium at 7:00pm.
Toronto Croatia Edged out Glen Shields 2-1 to move into second place in group B.
