LONDON CITY HELD AT HOME
In Friday night's only game, London City missed an opportunity to move back into top spot in the league standings when they were held to a 2 - 2 tie by visiting St. Catharines Roma Wolves. The one point earned from the tied game left City a point behind league leaders Toronto Olympians.

Gerry Cipriani opened the scoring for St. Catharines with a goal after 17 minutes and the Wolves held that 1 - 0 lead at half time. In the second half, Kenrick Emanuel equalised for London City in the 61st. minute but St. Catharines pulled ahead again in the 69th. minute with a goal by Gary McGuchan for a 2 - 1 lead. However, London City equalised for a second time with a goal from Ciiaran McCarthy in the 76th. minute and the game ended in a 2 - 2 tie.

London have another opportunity this weekend to move back into the top spot when they travel to Richmond Green in Richmond Hill on Sunday to take on the York Region Shooters. City beat the Shooters 4 - 3 in an exciting game in London on June 18th.
