25 June 2001 (TEAMtalk) -- THE TORONTO Inferno of the W-League came away with only a single point following their two-game weekend swing through Massachusetts.

The Inferno, Toronto's professional women's football team, were beaten 3-0 by the Boston Renegades in Framingham. The Renegades scored two first-half goals and a third in the second half to hand the Inferno their first road loss of the season.

On Sunday afternoon, Toronto scored a pair of goals in the game's final five minutes to pull out a 3-3 draw with the Springfield Sirens.

With the Sirens clinging to a 3-1 lead, Jo Hinks cut the lead to a goal in the 85th minute, and then, one minute from time, substitute forward Gwen Kilfoy equalized with her first goal of the season. Tina Blaskovic had opened the scoring for the Inferno in the first half.

The split gave the Inferno an overall record of three wins, two draws and two losses.

Toronto return home to face the Rochester Ravens on Friday at Scarborough's Birchmount Stadium.
