Result of the CPSL game between Ottawa Wizards and St Catharines Roma Wolves played Saturday October 13th, 2001 at Club Roma in St Catharines at 3:00pm (well closer to 3:30 because of the extra time in the other game). This was a one game semi-final for the playoff tournament between the regular season champions Wizards and the wild-card (actually 5th place finishing) Roma Wolves who upset the 4th place team Montreal Dynamites the night before. I expected the Roma Wolves to be exhausted. Win or lose they have to play tomorrow also in either the championship or consolation final.

43 min...Roma Wolves Gary McGutchan GOAL...RW Sam Borgh from 45 yards crosses over to McGutchan at 30 yards on left, Wizards defender Russell Shaw and charging goalie Richard Goddard try to squeeze him but stop and his 20 yard loft is into the center of the open net.
44 min...OW Iloanussi bashes through middle but diving goalie pulls it off his feet.
