CPSL Selects vs. Morocco
The CPSL Selects tied a strong Moroccan under-23 side, 1-1, in an exhibition game played at the Oz Stadium here tonight.

Morocco is here to play in the 12-country soccer tournament in the upcoming Francophone Games at Ottawa and Hull July 14-24. Following a scoreless first half, Morocco took the lead after 53 minutes on a goal by Omar Share and this was tied eight minutes later on a goal by Willy Giummarra of the Toronto Olympians. Canada is a participant in the Francophone Games and will be represented by the under-20 team that took part in the recent FIFA World Youth Championship in Argentina.

In CPSL league play tonight, London City and Brampton Hitmen played to a 2-2 tie at Cove Road in London. Brampton took a 1-0 half-time lead on a goal by Ricardo Jara and Adolfo Mella increased the lead to 2-0 in the second half before City tied the game on goals by Luan Jonuzi and Gebczynski.

In a OZ Optics League Cup qualifier played at Memorial Park in Mississauga, Toronto Croatia nipped Toronto Supra, 1-0, on a goal by Ante Musa.
