Tonight was Fiesta Latina Night with entertainers from different South American countries. A ten member Ecuadorian dance troupe did a folk dance with The Lynxster joining in the background. A latin singer sang the national anthems and although she had a good voice, English was probably not her first language. The ceremonial kick off was taken by a hostess from TLN television.

9 min...Lynx Reda blasts clearing attempt off RR Sebrango that deflects 20 yards back to Lynx goalie.
10 min...RR Kirmse 40 yard cross from right that goalie drifts wide left of post to catch although jostled from behind so play whistled down.

Attendance was announced as 3281. The game was being broadcast live on CTV Sportsnet.
90 minutes of Regular time and two Golden Goal overtime periods still result in no goals being
scored. Rhinos had a few more chances and had sub Steve Butcher put a header off the goalpost at 76 minutes and John Ball had a 10 yard shot go off the top of the bar at 84 minutes.
Rhinos had Lenin Steenkamp and Jimmy Glenn with huge knee bandages and Martin Nash is away with the Canadian National team and Onandi Lowe on the Jamaican National team this weekend. Lynx were in even worse shape as they ended up in the second half with only one regular defender and midfielders Chris Posniak and Brian Ashton
playing those positions after subbing for Mauricio Vincello and Marco Reda who aggravated injuries. Regular Adrian Serioux had a thigh heavily taped. Injured Nikola Vignvevic subbed for his brother Nebojsa at 81 minutes.
These teams play each other three more times in the next three weeks so they all won't
end as 0-0 draws. (hmm the June 25th meeting here did).
