Attendance was announced as 2420 in the middle of this Victoria Day holiday weekend.
The game started very slow with one shot until the 20 minute mark. Lynx could have had three goals and a bonus point in the standings if they'd been able to convert a third of their chances. They were hanging on at the end with Abraham Francois making two headers in the last eight minutes from point blank range that Theo Zagar was somehow able to keep out.
Marco Reda is the Lynx captain this year. He was also the Sunshine Boy in the Toronto Sun newspaper yesterday. Looks like Impact midfielder Phil Ionadi won't be on the CPSL Glen Shield Sun Devil roster this year. A press hand out listed new rules for the A-League this year and one of them was the clocks will count 'up' from 0 to 90 minutes each game but that won't be possible at Varsity Stadium with their old scoreboard. The Lynxster mascot has a new 'head' with longer ears so he looks more like a rabbit.
