69 min...Inferno Gwen Kilfoy GOAL...Tina Blaskovic receives pass on right, dekes defender and gets low cross over to Kilfoy who squeezes 5 yard shot from left post just past diving goalie.

Maier didn't start until 6th minute as their car made the wrong turn in London. The Eclipse played with 10 players until then and brought only two substitutes.

Final Score:....Toronto Inferno...2...Cleveland Eclipse....1..

Toronto gains revenge for their opening game of the year in Cleveland where they were beaten 3-1 on May 13th.

Attendance was about 150 as they were able to bring in a few girls teams from the nearby tournament that was going on earlier in the day.

The stadium is being renovated as two sections have had the aluminum seats torn from the concrete base I suppose to be reset.

Last week's game we had an official for the stadium come over to tell us they'd received 10 complaints from neighbours about the noise! (maybe the canned music at halftime). Tonight there was nobody to be found when only the east side of the stadium and center west lights went on! Some of the corners looked dim.

This Friday night the Inferno return to their Birchmount Stadium home in Scarborough for their match against Ottawa Fury.

Inferno Midfielder Amy Apps is the granddaughter of NHL hockey great Syl Apps Sr.
