My own season summary of the CPSL League.

Toronto Olympians (10 games)
League Champions, Cup Champions
Still the best team in the League although they weren't undefeated this year and they couldn't repeat the Triple. Injuries and tryouts in other countries for some of their star players left them beatable in spots this season. The team is still the scoring powerhouse of the league with an average of almost three goals per game.

St Catharines Roma Wolves (5 games)
My winner as most improved team this year after I rated them as most disappointing last year. They were runners-up in the League standings and a Cup Finalist.

Toronto Croatia (9 games)
Playoff Champions
The team with the best attendance of the teams I saw this year. They had to rush through their schedule as they didn't have the use of Centennial Stadium the last month of the season. This left them well rested for the Playoff series with two huge wins on the final weekend in the tournament in London earning them the Playoff championship and denying the Triple to Olympians.

Glen Shields Sun Devils(5 games)
The team finished first in their bracket of the Cup competition in a strong mid season run. Their combined overall record was an even 9 wins, 9 losses, and 5 ties.

York Region Shooters (7 games)
They got off to a very slow start at the beginning of the year but put it together for the Cup competition in the middle of the season. They then went into another slump when League play resumed and missed a chance at making the playoffs.

London City (2 games)
The team I saw the least. I only saw them late in the year when they were fizzling and knew they couldn't make the playoffs. From the news reports from the league and other fans it appeared they used the most players of any team and couldn't settle on a stable lineup.

North York Astros (11 games)
My runner up for most improved team of the year. Why? They really improved defensively and stayed in more games until later in each game. They now must increase their scoring to take the next step to improvement.

Oshawa Flames (3 games)
They lost their last five games of the year and ended up finishing last in the League standings.

Attendance was a problem during this season. I observed what looked like even less fans in the stands than last year. The League was able to get more corporate sponsers this year and some new franchises are coming into the league next year.
