At Centennial Stadium, Toronto Croatia held on to a 2-0 half time lead and edged out the York Region Shooters 2-1.  Toronto Croatia opened quickly with the first scoring opportunity going to recently traded Chris Handsor.  Handsor created some space outside the penalty area and let go with a curling left footed shot that had the Shooters' goalie beat, unfortunately the shot hit the post.

Roman Harapin opened the scoring for Toronto Croatia at the 21st minute with a thundering shot from outside the penalty area that hit the top left hand corner.  Croatia made it 2-0 just before half time when a save off of Rob Pagliaroli was sent quickly up field with a series of passes that sprung Paul Moore free.  Moore made no mistake scoring from just inside the penalty area.

York Shooters applied the pressure in the second half and George Azcurra was required to make several key saves.  Shooters got on the scoreboard at the 83rd minute when Bing Goa scored into an empty net after a defensive miscue by Croatia.  Shooters who lost 6-1 to Croatia on Sunday let their coach go on Sunday let their coach go but are still in the hunt for a playoff position with four games left to play.

In St. Catharines the Roma Wolves scored a late goal in the game to edge out the Sun Devils.  Glen Shields had a 1-0 lead at half time on a beautiful play by Fitzroy Powell.  Glen Shields could have gone up 3-0 when Phil Ionadi hit both the post and crossbar in a matter of minutes.  St. Catharines equalized at the 48th minute on a goal by ex A League player Carlo Arghitt.  Roma who are now being dubbed the "Come Back Kids" scored again in the final 5 minutes to take the three points.

At Birchmount Stadium the Olympians got a scare from the Flames.  With the Flames leading 1-0 at half time on a goal by Dave Kohek, it took leading goal scorer Gus Kuzmanis to knock in two and Eddy Berdusco to notch in a single for the Olympians to maintain their undefeated record.
