London City drops two, Shooters split, Glen Shields moves into fourth
London City dropped two games on the weekend losing 1-0 to the York Region Shooters at the Cove on Friday night, then 2-1 to the North York Astros on Sunday.

On Sunday, City travelled to Ester Shiner and lost 2-1 to the Astros.  The 3 points for Astros tied them with the Oshawa Flames for the battle of the basement.  These two teams meet on Sunday in Oshawa and both teams will be looking for a win and an opportunity to keep their playoff hopes alive.

York Region Shooters who have just come off a good run in  the League Cup, fell 1-0 to Glen Shields at Richmond Green on a goal by Fitzroy Powell at the 33rd minute.  The win moved Glen Shields into fourth place.

At the top of the table Toronto Croatia hosts the Toronto Olympians Friday night at Centennial Stadium.  Both teams will be without one of their starters as Olympians' John McNiel and Croatia's Tom Granic will miss this important League match with suspensions (accumulation of 3 yellow cards).
